PROJECT REFERENCE
Student Housing Estate
Problem to be solved:
The client wanted to supply off the grid water to a student housing facility and had access to a borehole. The borehole water was good quality and required very minor treatment to produce potable water.
Client: Owner of student housing estate
Location: Pretoria
Project Value: R 1 698 446.95
Year of execution: 2020
Plant description: 20 m3/h containerised water filtration plant
We supplied a containerised filtration and disinfection system to ensure potable water quality was supplied to the estate.
The client was able to remove themselves from an unreliable municipal grid network and ensure a constant supply of potable water.

Rural Community
Problem to be solved:
The client needed to discharge ground water contaminated with manganese into a drinking water supply dam. The client required the project to be complete within 4 weeks.
Client: Rural South African community
Location: Thabazimbi, South Africa
Project value: R 494 382.00
Year of execution: 2020
Plant description: 20 m³/h borehole water treatment plant
We installed a system which incorporated pH correction and filtration with catalytic media for to ensure manganese removal as well as hypochlorite dosing for disinfection.
The client was able to treat the water within the required timeframe and could guarantee manganese concentrations below drinking limits.
PROJECT REFERENCE
housing estate
Problem to be solved:
A housing estate located outside of the municipal grid supply system was required to provide potable water to the estate homeowners. Borehole water was the only water source, but was high in suspended solids, hardness, dissolved solids and was corrosive.
Client: Housing estate homeowners association
Location: East London
Project value: R 540 000.00
Year of execution: 2022
Plant description: 50 m3/day borehole water treatment plant
We offered filtration, softening and reverse osmosis to address the main challenges with the water. Permeate was disinfected and remineralised with calcite prior to storage.
The client was able to supply safe, potable water to the estate homeowners.
PROJECT REFERENCE
Private Home
Problem to be solved:
The homeowner wanted to get off the water grid and installed a borehole on his property. The borehole water was contaminated with suspended solids, hardness, iron, manganese and organic carbon.
Client: Private Home
Location: Bedfordview
Project value: R 135 962.00
Year of execution: 2022
Plant description: 500 L/hr Domestic Water Treatment Plant
We installed suspended solids and GAC filtration for solids and organics removal and our inhouse Ecosoft Ecomix media for hardness, iron, and manganese removal. Ozone was used for disinfection.
The homeowner was able to secure their water supply with sufficient quantity and quality to remove themselves from the municipal grid.
